What does 'private chef' actually mean?+
Your chef designs menus around your preferences, sources ingredients from local markets, prepares all meals, and is available for cooking classes or special dietary requirements. It's the equivalent of your own personal restaurant, on your schedule.
Can we hold a wedding or celebration event at the villa?+
Many of our properties are licensed for events. We coordinate caterers, musicians, florists, and photographers as part of event planning services layered on top of the villa booking.
How do you select properties for your portfolio?+
Every property in our portfolio has been visited in person by a Tarn Voyages representative. We assess staff quality, privacy genuineness, maintenance standards, and the character of the ownership.
What if something goes wrong at the property during our stay?+
Every villa stay includes a dedicated Tarn Voyages contact who is reachable 24/7. We have direct relationships with all property managers and can resolve any issue within hours.
Is the price for the whole villa or per person?+
All our villa prices are for the entire property — not per person. This is why they represent excellent value for groups of 6 or more.
Can we self-cater if we prefer?+
Yes — though we strongly recommend using the private chef. For properties where the chef is optional, we stock the kitchen before arrival with everything you specify.
