What are the best months for tiger sightings in India?+
October through June, with the peak being February to May when the forests are drier and tigers congregate near water. October through January is excellent and less crowded.
What does 'luxury tented camp' actually mean?+
A luxury tent typically means a permanent canvas structure with a solid wooden deck, a proper bed, en-suite bathroom (sometimes with an outdoor shower), electricity, and often AC or heating. It is camping in character only.
Is it ethical to do a wildlife safari?+
Responsible safari tourism is one of the most powerful forces for wildlife conservation. The revenue directly funds anti-poaching operations, community conservation, and habitat protection. We exclusively use partners with strong conservation ethics.
Can children go on safari?+
Most luxury camps in Africa accept children from age 6–8 upwards. India tiger safari vehicles are family-friendly. We advise on specific child policies at each camp and select age-appropriate activities.
What is the chance of seeing a tiger?+
At Ranthambore and Bandhavgarh, sighting chances are 70–90% over 4+ game drives during peak season (Feb–May). We book the right camps and the right guides to maximise your odds.
